Madou Monogatari: Michikusa Ibun is a 1994 role-playing game developed by Compile, part of the Puyo Puyo series. It released on PC-9800 Series and PC (Microsoft Windows).

A first-person dungeon-crawler developed by Compile. It was first released on July 15, 1994 for PC-98.

Madou Monogatari: Michikusa Ibun follows the same first-person dungeon-crawler format as most other Madou Monogatari games. It resembles Madou Monogatari 3 the most in terms of gameplay, with Arle accompanied by Carbuncle for the duration of the game.

This game serves as a direct prequel to Puyo Puyo (1992), building off of the backstory presented in its manual. It was published as part of Disc Station 98 Vol.

Story

Madou Monogatari: Michikusa Ibun opens with Arle and Carbuncle enjoying the nice weather while laying on the grass together. Arle decides that a day like today is a perfect time to go dungeon-crawling so she and Carbuncle set off for a nearby ruin and begin exploring.
